Honoring Myself

01/10/08

I’m walking slowly on my familiar path my staff slung over my back. I walked along this path to the small clearing where my waterfall and entry pool await. Jumping in the water felt cool and welcome. Taking a breath I flip over swimming down, down, down, head first through the narrow opening and on into the pool on the other side.

Pulling myself out on the other side I walk out of the cavern and over to Wascar. We exchange our customary greetings and then I continue on to the first of four chambers. The first chamber was dark and a shell was on a pedestal in one corner of the room. The pedestal was lit by a spot light from directly above, the intensity of the light made the shell glow. A voice spoke saying to honor my good health by using my gifts specifically that of running and that longevity beyond my expectations will remain.

In the next chamber there was a flurry of crazy action movies, so much activity that I couldn’t capture and specific details. I did sense that people I know were there, and that the activity was likely their life stories. Then in the third chamber, there was a fire pit and as I approached the fire I was told to honor my diversity.

In the last chamber, Was a paper crammed with writing and a quill pen, I walked over to the paper and began to read it. The paper was contract, which I signed and as soon as my signature was complete the contract burst into flames. Immediately I was back by Wascar, I said goodbye and returned.
